The material known as foam concrete is tremendously helpful for producing massive amounts of relatively weak void filler that can be easily pumped across great distances and will fill the majority of voids.
The Foam Concrete is very fluid and flowing, and it will “search” without needing to be leveled or compacted. Additionally, foam concretes will flow through pits and enclose pipelines, fittings, and impediments. As only a few examples, “Foam Concretes” are specified to lower loadings, lower site supply volumes, and provide a temporary, stable material for works.
A long-lasting liquid mortar known as Foam Concrete is made of cement, water, any chosen particles, and a foam-forming additive. The admixture dissolves once the floor is poured. What’s left is a concrete building covered in numerous tiny, sealed air bubbles. The floor is therefore made up of roughly 70% stagnant air. The end product is a floor that is sturdy, light, and very insulating.
Other benefits include the quick drying period (walkable after only 48 hours), immunity to shrinking, and resistance to environmental factors such dampness, frost, thaw, mildew, and rot. As a result, “Foam Concrete” is ideal for a wide range of applications. It also uses a great deal less raw material than conventional concrete floors due to the abundance of air. Because of this, foam concrete is far more inexpensive and durable.
Our volumetric concrete mixer produces “Foam Concrete” by entraining air bubbles within the concrete through the use of an additive. The aerated concrete then transforms into a versatile, lightweight substance.
We can easily and effectively pump or deposit foamed concrete at your desired area using our volumetric concrete mixers. Since “Foam Concrete” can be blended in a variety of mix designs, we make care to blend it on-site so you get exactly what you want.
