Foam concrete is highly useful for producing large volumes of lightweight void filler that can be easily pumped over long distances and will fill most voids.

Foam concrete is very fluid and will “search” out spaces without needing to be leveled or compacted. It also flows into pits and encloses pipelines, fittings and obstructions. Foam concretes are specified, for example, to reduce loadings, reduce site supply volumes and provide a temporary, stable material for works.

Foam concrete is a long-lasting liquid mortar made of cement, water, chosen aggregates and a foam-forming additive. The admixture dissolves once the floor is poured, leaving a concrete mass full of tiny, sealed air bubbles. The floor therefore consists of roughly 70% trapped air. The result is a floor that is sturdy, light and highly insulating.

Other benefits include the quick drying period (walkable after only 48 hours), immunity to shrinking, and resistance to environmental factors such dampness, frost, thaw, mildew, and rot. As a result, “Foam Concrete” is ideal for a wide range of applications. It also uses a great deal less raw material than conventional concrete floors due to the abundance of air. Because of this, foam concrete is far more inexpensive and durable.

Our volumetric concrete mixer produces “Foam Concrete” by entraining air bubbles within the concrete through the use of an additive. The aerated concrete then transforms into a versatile, lightweight substance.

We can easily and effectively pump or deposit foamed concrete at your desired area using our volumetric concrete mixers. Since “Foam Concrete” can be blended in a variety of mix designs, we make care to blend it on-site so you get exactly what you want.
